CHIPPEWA VALLEY COACHES
HOW DO WE FUNDRAISE?
1. SPONSORSHIPS: Coach Kapral finds sponsors within our community every year and to honor these sponsors we hang banners outside of the varsity stadium. No parents or athletes are asked to do any of the work or contribute.
2. BOWLING FUNDRAISER: The entire program participates in a bowling fundraiser set up and organized by one of the varsity parents. Coach Kapral polled the entire returning varsity team and parents after the 2017 season and asked if we should continue to have the bowling fundraiser and it was aunanimous yes.
3. FUNDAMENTALS CAMP: The last five years Coach Kapral has put on a camp in June for young women within our community to learn the fundamentals of softball. Every year the camp has met its cap for the number of girls permitted to run an effective camp. She asks returning varsity athletes to work the camp. No one, including Coach Kapral, is paid to run/work the two day camp.
